Project Archiving: Make Room for What's Next
Archive a project and its documents to clear the active lists, then bring the work back when you need it.

A finished initiative should not compete with today's work every time you open a picker. Team admins can now archive a project, taking its documents and sub-projects out of active lists, counts, pickers, and agent tools without deleting them.

Finished projects stay within reach in the Archived view.
Use the Archived view on Projects to find work you have put away. An admin can unarchive the project when it becomes relevant again. This is a decision about visibility for the team, not a personal filter: archiving changes what everyone sees as active work.
Projects also have a clearer way to organize an initiative into smaller parts. Where project planning is enabled, create a sub-project from its parent or choose a parent while creating a project. A parent and its sub-projects stay in the same team, with documents and files kept alongside the work they support.
These controls serve different moments. Sub-projects help separate active pieces of an initiative; archiving puts the finished initiative away. Neither is a substitute for deleting material that should actually be removed.
Open Livemark, choose Projects, and archive a completed initiative when the team is ready to put it aside.
