Natural AI Follow-Ups: One Mention Starts the Conversation

Human follow-ups in an involved comment thread can reach the assistant without another explicit mention.

By ·

Once you have brought @Livemark into a comment thread, a follow-up can continue the conversation without repeating the mention. The assistant now evaluates later human replies in that thread and decides whether it has something useful to contribute.

For example, ask about a requirement, read its answer, then clarify which case you meant. The clarification can reach the assistant in the same discussion instead of requiring another invocation and a restatement of the context. The thread remains attached to the writing the conversation is about.

This does not mean Livemark replies to everything. It can stay silent when a follow-up is meant for another person or needs no assistant response. Agent-authored comments do not trigger an endless exchange between automated replies.

Permissions still come from the author of the triggering comment. A follow-up does not inherit extra authority from the person who first mentioned Livemark, and asking a question does not itself authorize a document change.

Open a document, mention @Livemark in a relevant comment, and continue naturally when you need to clarify the request. You can still mention it explicitly when you want to address it directly.
