Precise AI Edits: Change the Sentence, Keep the Rest
Exact-text edits and sentence-sized previews make small revisions easier to request and inspect.

Small edits should stay small. Livemark now supports exact-text changes within a prose block, so an agent can replace the quoted words or sentence without replacing the surrounding paragraph.
That matters when the paragraph is already right except for one claim, qualifier, or awkward sentence. A text-scoped edit names the exact passage and supplies only its replacement. The surrounding writing remains in place, and sentence-sized previews show the local change rather than making the entire paragraph look like it is being rewritten.
This is distinct from block editing. Changing a list item's structure, replacing a table row, or reorganizing a section still calls for a structural operation. Exact-text edits require a full quote within one prose textblock, not an abbreviated quote spanning several blocks. Section freshness checks still apply.
Edits continue to apply immediately unless you ask to review first. For a pending proposal, you can also comment on the proposal and mention @Livemark to revise it in place rather than start a disconnected alternative.
Open a draft, select one sentence, and ask for the precise change you want—or explicitly request a suggestion to review first.
